Aoife

aoife2.jpgThe mood for this shoot was ‘grunge chic’, so for this look I decided to go with very natural looking skin (+ fake freckles to make it look even more ‘raw’), smoky, smeared out black eyes & a natural tint for the lips

aoife1.jpgFor the skin I used LT-Pro Smooth Corrector Foundation in Plum Rose as a concealer (over spots, around the nose – I left the area under the eyes bare for that ‘raw’ look) and topped that with the Clarins Tinted Sunscreen in Light over certain areas of the skin, leaving the rest bare.

aoife4.jpgI used Maybelline Define-A-Brow in Light Brown for the freckles, dotting it around the nose, on the cheeks & a little bit on the forehead & chin. Then I set the ‘freckles’ with the Tarte ‘Smooth Operator’ Finishing Powder so they wouldn’t budge.

aoife3.jpgThen I added a little bit of contouring under the cheekbones and under the jaw.

aofie7.jpgFor the eyes I used LT-Pro Eyeshadow in Black from the Perfecting Eye Color Palette over the lid – blending it out until it had a semi-translucent (‘raw’ & natural) effect – and then around half of the lower lash-line.

aoife5.3jpg.jpegThen I lined the upper lash-line with the Marc Jacobs Highliner in ‘Blacquer’, smudging that upwards towards the eyeshadow before adding some black mascara (Maybelline’s Volum’ Express).

aoife6.1.jpgFor the lips I used the red color from the LT-Pro Lip Gloss Palette & dabbing it on the lips & evening it out the color with my ring finger for that ‘my lips but better’ vibe.
